Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Lifetime Vision Center a proud provider of vision care products and services in West Jefferson.


Scott A. Furgerson, O.D.

Dr. Furgerson joined the West Jefferson community in 2003 after he received his Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. In 2003 he purchased the practice from Dr. David Eberhardt who retired shortly after.

Originally from northeast Ohio, he graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio with his bachelor’s degree in Biology.

He and his wife, Dr. Mary Furgerson, have lived in central Ohio for over 10 years and love it. Besides raising a family, he enjoys getting out on the greens and supporting the Buckeyes, Browns and Indians.

Mary C. Furgerson, O.D.

Dr. Mary Furgerson joined the West Jefferson community in 2003 when her husband purchased the practice. After she received her Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2010 she joined her husband in practice.

Originally from northeast Ohio, she graduated from Kent State University with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Dr. Furgerson and her husband have lived in central Ohio for over 10 years and love it here. Besides raising a family, she enjoys artistic pursuits, reading, and supporting the Buckeyes and the Browns.
